Got lucky enough to walk in Sunday the 17th of November & had an outstanding dinner. Everything was spectacular & well executed. Our server Cassie was so sweet! Gave excellent recommendations. Started off with the mezze sauce platter which was so good!!! Such a diverse & fun dish because you could continue pairing the rest of the sauces throughout each course. Something about that scallop taco that almost made me pass out! I’ve had raw scallops before but for some reason everywhere I went the flavors were never well balanced. The Chaas aguachile & Meen Moilee were so good & fresh! Love how the sauces stood out & highlighted the seafood. Oysters were not my cup of tea. Prawns, quesadillas, lamb tacos & the star of the show Lamb Barbacoa Biryani are dishes you shouldn’t miss. Can’t wait to stop by again.

11/10. Each item we ordered was better than the last. Menu - The menu is fluid. It doesn't separate courses rather it is one list. They explained that the items were listed from small portions to bigger portions. Customer Service - one of the most underrated aspects, imo, is cleanliness while eating. Between each course, the table was refreshed with clean plates/cutlery and wiped down. This made the dining experience much more enjoyable and comfortable. There needs to be a google filter on which restaurants do this because I'd only opt for those! From being received at the door to leaving after dinner, the service was excellent. Food- we had the Crispy Tacos, Prawn Chaat, Tacos Arabe, Lamb Barbacoa Biryani, Ras Malai Tres Leches, French Press Coffee and Pocket Full of Sunshine (NA drink). When I say 11/10, I mean 20/10. Each item had a unique flavor and did not disappoint. Our absolute favorite was the Tacos Arabe. The braised leg of lamb was absolute perfection. The ras malai tres leches was incredible. I've had plenty of ras malai tres leches but this was WOW. The olive oil cake made a perfect base for all the flavors to come together in harmony: mango, coconut, pistachio. I already miss it lol Ambiance- the mix of American and Indian music was great! The lighting in the evening time was nice as well. We recently went to another high-end restaurant and the lighting was so low, I was struggling to see (are we in the 1800's? Or are we trying to save on the light bill?!). That's when I realized mood lighting must be done right! Hats off to Chef Zubair and the team at Mirra. Amazing food, presentation, ambiance and customer service. Will definitely be coming back again this summer to experience it with the garage door opened up. Thank you!

One of the best meals I have had in awhile. Vibe is very approachable and chill while maintaining very good service. Both cocktails and wine were very good and went with the food. Glad we ordered too much because even eating the leftovers was delicious the next day. Really well executed fusion of flavors. Bravo.

Mirra is a cozy gem in Bucktown packing a punch with great flavors from Mexico and India! I loved everything about my dining experience - great help from the server selecting a wine, comprehensive explanations of each dish, and chill music. The RGMX Scielo Tinto was an amazing red wine blend from Mexico that paired very well with the spice of the dishes. My favorite menu items were the scallop tacos and the salmon. Everything is served with layers of flavor and texture that help create the perfect bite. Pro-tip: try and get a table by the window or in the back by the kitchen.

A dinner that was to be a precursor to a show we were watching later, turned out the star of the evening! Indian fusion often leaves me wary but this blend of Latin and Indian flavors at Mirra is incredible. We tried some of their prize-winning dishes and it immediately became clear why those dishes won prizes. The Chaas Aguachile definitely deserves a special mention as we went back for seconds! The Lamb Barbacoa Biryani was a work of art! Can't wait to go back and try the items we could not try at dinner. We had an early dinner (for us) and the restaurant was hopping, with nary a chair empty. I have seen Jeremy being mentioned in other reviews and rightly so. He was amazing and kind enough to accommodate our growing table.

I had an incredible experience at Mirra! The food was absolutely outstanding. As someone who loves Mexican cuisine, I was initially a bit hesitant about the fusion aspect, but every dish exceeded my expectations. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and it all came together in a way that felt innovative but still true to the roots of Mexican cooking. I also want to give a special shoutout to our server, Jeremy (I hope I got the name right, tall with long sideburns). He went above and beyond in explaining the menu, detailing the nuances of each dish, and making thoughtful suggestions based on our preferences. He really made the experience stand out, and the entire front-of-house team worked seamlessly to create a welcoming atmosphere. It was a birthday celebration, and I was truly touched that every staff member came by to wish my partner a happy birthday. It really made the evening feel special. Overall, a fantastic meal with exceptional service. I can't wait to come back and try more!

One of the best meals I've had in the city in a long while. Indian-Mexican fusion combined some of my favorite flavors with a good amount of spice and flavor. I highly recommend Mirra to anyone that likes complex flavors and a variety of spices.

Outstanding Mexican-Indian fusion restaurant! Highlights include: • Lamb barbacoa biryani (so flavorful, with tender fluffy rice) • Crispy tacos (small but delicious, stuffed with scallops) • Taco arabe (tender lamb and crispy cheese) • Salmon (crispy outside, tender inside with great seasoning and lime rice) Dishes are pretty small and it’s definitely pricey, but the quality and flavors are excellent. Definitely worth a visit!
